INSPIRATION: The brand draws inspiration from the serene beauty of mornings at sea, where the first light meets the horizon, and a perfect cup of coffee sets the tone for the day. The interplay of natural elements sun rays, sea waves, and a coffee bean guides the logo design, evoking a harmonious balance between indulgence and sustainability. Through minimalist elegance, Onshore Roasters encapsulates the art of slow living, transforming coffee into a refined experience for the luxury yacht lifestyle.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Onshore Roasters brand identity captures the essence of luxury, sustainability, and simplicity. Designed for the yachting world, the refined logo seamlessly merges a coffee bean, sunbeams, and sea waves, symbolizing a morning ritual on the open waters. The packaging, crafted from recycled paper, reinforces the brand’s eco-conscious values, while a soothing, earthy color palette enhances the sense of purity and sophistication.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Onshore Roasters provides consistent quality coffee to premium yacht owners, wherever they're in the world.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design thinking method of Diverge and Converge was used. All design was realized digitally as vector based assets with Adobe Creative Suite and then physical items such as coffee bean pouches were produced by 4 color printing technique.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The brand was applied on to various sizes of items including printed items and digital. Some examples are business cards, posters, web design and packaging designs. Packaging designs are 1 kg pouches and metal tins.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Interviews with head management of luxury yachts were conducted to better understand the needs of consumers. Thanks to the qualitative interviews the confirmed the need and the idea was validated. Indeed, the luxury yacht owners are complaining of not being able to find good quality coffee constantly when they're on the sea.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was finding a supplier for recyclable paper pouches that also keeps the freshness of the product.
