DESIGN NAME: Brickwell Builders
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Corporate Identity
INSPIRATION: My goal was to create a project that integrates tradition with cutting-edge technology. I choose to bring this vision to life throught a construction company that combines the key principles of traditional building techniques with modern methodologies to deliver high-quality construction projects. The logo and corporate identity reflect the company's commitment to preserving traditional craftsmanship while embracing the latest advancements in the industry.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Brickwell Builders is a forward-thinking construction company specializing in sustainable and innovative building solutions. This brand identity project redefines its image, blending tradition with modernity. The logo, crafted as interlocking bricks forming the letter B, symbolizes strength, precision and trust. Paired with a cohesive color palette, typography and branding materials, the identity reflects the company's dedication to preserving traditional craftsmanship while embracing the latest advancements in construction technology.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: For the best result I adapted the logo. It is possible to use its full version in cases where you need to ensure maximum readability and brand recognition. The shortened version of the logo is ideal for minimalistic or limited spaces. Each version emphasizes the brand while maintaining a visual connection, but adapts to the task and scale of the medium.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: I started working on the project in February 2024 in Modena, completed it in April 2024 and published it on Behance.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Before starting the work, I conducted market research and used the associative circle method. Then, I moved on to the design process, beginning with hand-drawn sketches in a notebook before transitioning to Illustrator. At each of the stages the logo was changed, modified and improved and in the end I got the logo that I presented.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project was created as a portfolio piece and does not include predefined technical specifications for advertising materials. The logo and visual identity elements are designed in a vector format, ensuring scalability and adaptability across various applications. All branding assets are optimized for both digital and print use, maintaining high quality and clarity in different formats.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This project focuses on the intersection of tradition and modernity in construction branding. The research was based on an exploratory approach, analyzing industry trends and best practices in visual identity design. Methods included market analysis, competitor benchmarking and design experimentation. The outcome is a scalable and adaptable identity system that reflects craftsmanship while embracing innovation, with potential applications in branding, marketing and corporate commucations.
CHALLENGE: The main challenge was balancing tradition and modernity in the brand identity. It was essential to honor traditional craftsmanship while ensuring the design felt contemporary and relevant in a competitive market. Finding the right visual language required extensive research into construction aesthetics and industry trends. Additionally, creating a scalable identity that works across both digital and print formats demanded careful typographic and color choises.
