PRIMARY FUNCTION: Cross Brochure
INSPIRATION: The square folded cross brochure against violence towards women draws its inspiration from the urgent need to raise awareness and put a stop to this global issue. Each page of the brochure unfolds to reveal powerful messages, creating a visual narrative that seamlessly combines bold imagery with meaningful advocacy. The design encourages engagement, urging individuals to reflect on and support the fight against violence.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The cross brochure design against women violence goes beyond traditional formats, presenting a powerful visual and educational tool. Each page conveys impactful statistics such as ''1 in 3 women have suffered physical or sexual violence'' and ''137 women are killed by a family member daily''. The bold colours and straightforward text draw attention, while its interactive, foldable structure invites deeper exploration. This innovative design creates a strong visual statement impossible to ignore.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The brochure features interactive layers that symbolically remove violence, both physical and verbal, from a woman’s face, creating a powerful visual transformation. Additionally, it includes a wearable ribbon, allowing participants to actively join the movement against violence. This engaging design invites users to interact, making the message both personal and impactful in the fight for women's safety.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in July 2024 in Athens and finished in September 2024 in Athens.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The designs where created on Adobe Creative Suite (adobe photoshop & adobe illustrator). The brochure's material is paper and transparent gelatine.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The concept is built on extensive research, featuring powerful statistics that highlight the global issue. Shocking facts like ''1 in 3 women worldwide have suffered physical or sexual violence'' and ''Less than 40% of women seek help'' are displayed prominently. This data-driven approach makes the content relatable, engaging, and informative, encouraging deeper reflection and understanding.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was to motivate individuals to join the global movement and even educate others about this critical issue. To foster a deeper connection, we personalised each recipient's tag with their name. This tactic enhanced the impact of our message and encouraged active participation in the fight against violence towards women.
