| DESIGN NAME: Wonderland Fruit PRIMARY FUNCTION: Packaging Illustration INSPIRATION: The design inspiration comes from the traditional Chinese art style. the design team determined the overall direction through investigation and made design suggestions based on these art style elements. Finally, these traditional and fashionable visual packaging illustration works were created after discussions and revisions with team members. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This design work uses many traditional Chinese art elements to express the atmosphere, such as attics, cranes and auspicious clouds. In terms of colour tone, the design team discussed and decided to adopt the same colour tone as the fruit for better match the visual effect and style display. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This series received a number of positive opinions and were highly acclaimed on many fields. Moreover, numerous people had been touched and they had thought these works will not be forgotten ever. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project was created and completed between July and November 2022 in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width: 297mm x Height: 420mm x Weight: 200gm TAGS: Wonderland, Fruit, Wonderland Friut RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Wonderland fruit is a display of traditional Chinese art elements integrated into packaging illustrations. This series of works is very beautiful. Meanwhile, soft in colour is integrated into the illustrations composed of Chinese art elements, thereby showing a wonderland atmosphere. CHALLENGE: The most significant challenge was to express our perspectives via visual communication method in illustrations. Therefore, the design team spent a great deal of time studying and finding the way to balance the aesthetic, expression and visual elements at the same time. NAME: Huzhou University PROFILE: Huzhou University is a full-time comprehensive university. Its history dated back to the year of 1916 when the Qiantang Dao(“Dao” is an old administrative unit, almost likes the “county”) set up the NO.3 Teachers’ Training School. It began to carry out higher education program in 1958, and started to enroll undergraduates in 1994. In March 1999, Huzhou University was founded by consolidating three former colleges and schools: Huzhou Normal Junior College, Huzhou Teacher’s School and Huzhou Teacher’s Training School. In May 2000, former Huzhou Medical School was merged into the newly founded university. Huzhou University passed the assessment of undergraduate teaching work organized by the Ministry of Education for evaluation of “good” in November 2005. The university has been entitled as the National Civilized Unit. It is qualified to enroll and cultivate both undergraduates and postgraduates and among the list of pilot universities to implement the national education training programs called “Excellent Doctors” and “Excellent Talents of Agriculture and Forestry”. Huzhou University is one of the key universities in the process of enrollment of regular institutions of higher education in Zhejiang Province. |
