| DESIGN NAME: Bay Mega Mansion PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition Center INSPIRATION: By the Jiaozhou Bay, between the sky and the sea,the design makes full use of the surrounding landscape resources. Extract elements of horizontal lines and curves from calm seas and churning waves. The horizontal lines on the upper layer represent calmness, which fits with the calm sea and is her gentle side; the powerful curves on the lower layer represent strength, which fits with the turbulent waves, and is her flying side. It echoes the calm sea and the turbulent waves. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project is located in the North District of Qingdao,at the intersection of Changjia Road and Ruihai Road. The overall terrain is gentle, and the west side faces Jiaozhou Bay directly. It has unique sea view resources. The exhibition center uses horizontal lines to echo the gentleness and tranquility of the sea, and uses elegant curves to interpret the tumbling posture of the huge waves of the sea,completing a concerto between the sea and the waves. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design of the exhibition center starts from the perspective of refining regional cultural symbols, and uses the theme of "sea" to express the wonderful bloom of the city. The building stands gracefully by the sea, The facade of a landscape, with an open attitude, it has become a new memory of the city and a check-in point for Internet celebrities. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project will start design in Qingdao in March 2021, start construction in Qingdao in December 2021, complete in Qingdao in April 2022, and open in Qingdao in April 2022. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Aluminum panels are used for the cornice portion of the facade, and the rest is made of glass. The contrast between the two materials highlights the horizontal lines extending to the sky and the relaxed curves. The first floor of the building uses a transparent all-glass curtain wall, like a pouring water curtain, reflecting the sky and clouds. Combined with the circular waterscape of the base,it creates the effect of floating on the water. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The building area is 2300 square meters TAGS: exhibition center， bay mega mansion， full glass curtain wall ，seaside building， jiaozhou bay shore， concerto of sea and wave， anodized aluminum plate RESEARCH ABSTRACT: At the early stage of design, it considers the future use function. After the sale is completed, it will be transformed into a sports center at a minimum cost to maximize the efficiency of resource utilization. The first floor is 7.4 meters high,The distance is 15 meters from north to south and 18 meters from east to west, meeting the clear height requirements of the sports center. It can be changed into a half-court basketball and table tennis venue in the later stage.
