PRIMARY FUNCTION: Rescue Bottle with Oxygen Cylinder
INSPIRATION: There are many casualties caused by vehicles falling into the water around the world. It is difficult to open the door after the vehicle falls into the water. At the same time, under the influence of panic and lung capacity factors, ordinary people are very easy to choke on water and cause tragedies. In order to reduce the occurrence of this situation, A portable oxygen cylinder in the car with the function of breaking the window is designed.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: After the vehicle falls into the water, it is very easy to choke on the water. In order to help the trapped people survive this period of time and escape successfully, and reduce casualties after falling into the water, this product integrates the functions of broken window rescue and oxygen absorption, and uses the pressure in the gas cylinder to pop out the water. The window hammer enables the user to be rescued smoothly.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Before use, it is necessary to daily check whether the gas pressure is available. After falling into the water, first open the lid, push the button and take out the mouthpiece, then bite the mouthpiece and use the mouth to breathe to supplement oxygen, and finally perform the window-breaking action, pull out the oxygen mouth, and swim towards the water surface.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The shell of the product is made of lightweight aluminum alloy to make the shell sturdy. A 0.5L oxygen cylinder is placed inside, and it is equipped with a silicone mouthpiece.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: First of all, we analyzed the process of falling into the water, referring to relevant documentaries and popular science programs, etc., and contacted the relevant laboratory to consult the time that people can hold their breath underwater. The twinning technology makes the environment of falling into the water reproduced in the computer. The final analysis of the results shows that the container size of 0.5L is the most suitable for self-rescue within 5 minutes. At the same time, considering the portable use scene, it can be placed in the car. The experimental results make us pay more attention to the personal safety of drowning vehicles after traffic accidents, which is worthy of deep consideration by the society.
CHALLENGE: We encountered a lot of resistance in the design of the experiment, including the experimental site and budget, but in the end we used a digital twin to complete the scenario reproduction, which was our most challenging difficulty. At the same time, we also cleverly combined the The functional characteristics of the window hammer make this process extremely convenient.
