| DESIGN NAME: Next Towers Alicante PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential and Hotel Complex INSPIRATION: It is inspired by dynamic elements that emulate movement. We aim to create an iconic project that will be a landmark of the entire coast. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: DNA Barcelona Architects develops a proposal of a new project “Next Towers”, located in Torrevieja, a Spanish city in the province of Alicante, known for its typically Mediterranean climate and coast. The project consists of 2 towers which are elaborated for hospitality and residential usage. Both towers are placed on a podium that contains the amenities, social areas and open spaces, for the fulfilment of guests and residents. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: For the conceptual part of this project special programs were used for digitization, design and visualization. Despite this, we used models to understand the project physically to understand how both towers were linked. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: RESIDENCIAL, HOTEL, ALICANTE, TOWERS, CONCEPT RESEARCH ABSTRACT: For the design of the facades we understood the elements that surrounded the plot such as the sea, the beach and the promenade, generating movement. it is so that by combining the full and empty we get the desired movement for the complex.
