| DESIGN NAME: Rocha Cook PRIMARY FUNCTION: Restaurant INSPIRATION: White walls grow out of the soil, and they are freely combined into a barrier. The scattered relationship makes the light and shadow have different gaps to drill. Around here, you will be fascinated by a long picture like scenery. In the distance is the city the designers love. Turning around, the designers can see that the geometrically arranged walls sprout in the soil, like growing buildings. In fact, they are also alive. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Back on June 3, 2019, The designer came here for the first time in the scorching summer. After nearly two months of site selection, The designer finally came to this mountain depression, saw an old house wrapped by the forest, climbed up the roof and was pleasantly surprised to see the whole city. Sitting on the courtyard wall, The designer began to imagine what kind of house to build at the designer feet. It should be natural, romantic, naive, quiet and passionate. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Simple design materials, the whole is poured from concrete structure, and the outer wall adopts white art paint. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Floor area: 6000 Square meters Building area: 266 Square meters Building height: 6.9 Meter TAGS: White House, The Most Beautiful Sunset Restaurant, Boundless Swimming Pool, Overlooking the City, Romantic Mid Levels. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design technique is good at deconstructing a set of expression forms in line with modern aesthetics and cognition in the classical architectural structure based on naturalism and oriental aesthetics. It interprets elegant, artistic and fashionable works through modern materials combined with current popular colors, maintains its own unique aesthetic standards in the field of architecture and interior design, and successfully shapes one modern space with naturalistic charm after another. CHALLENGE: In the reconstruction of old houses, the designers need to face some government conditions and changes in the nature of land, and meet the building specifications to achieve good design results. After nearly three years of design and construction, Rocha cook encountered a rare rainstorm that washed away the foundation, experienced the once-in-a-century heavy snowfall and mountain closure in Chengdu, and survived the panic of the outbreak of the epidemic.
