| DESIGN NAME: My Pace My Moments PRIMARY FUNCTION: Installation INSPIRATION: 24 hours is the way humans define time as belonging to a day, is the fairest giving in this world. There is someone around every corner who is starting their own 24 hours. Does time really exist? we do not know. It is certain that time flows in cycles. In the process of free shuttle in this space, feel your own way of defining time. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This work uses nearly 200 square pillars to form a curtain in the form of hanging or landing, creating free walking lines in the space. Each pillar has four colors (Yellow/morning, Orange/noon, Red/evening, Grey/late night) and designed azimuth arrangements. The color configuration seen by the visitors during the walk will continue to change, thereby breaking people's inherent thinking about time. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This work uses nearly 200 square pillars to form a curtain in the form of hanging or landing, creating free walking lines in the space. Each pillar has four colors (Yellow/morning, Orange/noon, Red/evening, Grey/late night) and designed azimuth arrangements. The color configuration seen by the visitors during the walk will continue to change, thereby breaking people's inherent thinking about "time". In the center of the space, there is an installation with a speed of 2.5rpm, which is designed like a horn, silently and loudly saying hello to the visits. This device condenses the original definition of 24 hours a day into 24 seconds. Makes people feels the passage of time. In addition, 3 interactive installations are set up in the exhibition, which cleverly integrates the client's products into the exhibition. The interactive area equipped with a chair and sounds that need to be heard close to the ears. Playing home sounds in the morning, noon, and evening. Such as scenes like going out after brewing coffee in the morning, or cooking with a glass of sparkling water in the evening. Of course, all the sounds are actually recorded using the products by Hengstyle. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in October 2021 in Taipei and finished in one week. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This installation uses foam board to cut, spray paint, and complete the configuration after careful calculation of radian. There is also a specially recorded ambient sound installation experience. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The overall space is about 169 square meters. CHALLENGE: It is a big challenge for the paint factory to accurately produce the perfect four-sided spray paint with different colors.
