RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The entire house was designed by Flavio Franco. The design process took about one month to complete. The architect wanted to design a house that incorporate a lot of green spaces and it has a swimming pool floating above the ground floor. The finished result is a house that blends in the landscape and it looks very light.
CHALLENGE: The structure of the house was the most complicated part, since there is a swimming pool on the second floor which can be viewed from the ground floor. The entire house is constructed on concrete pillars. Charred wood was also used by design choice since it can preserve wood for a very long period.
