| DESIGN NAME: Yida Creation City PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition Center INSPIRATION: The exhibition center takes "floating polysilicon" as the design concept, presents the image IP of the information technology industry in a concise and powerful polyhedron form, and realizes the dialogue between the exhibition function and the north and South landscape parks. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: As the first project and urban exhibition hall of Yida science and technology new town base, the project is located in the northwest corner of the whole park. It is rooted in the site environment. Through the floating volume, it connects the inward Central Park with the civic urban park to form a large park system. The floating building volume reflects the future value of the area by giving it a white jade image. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The formal language rising at the corner of the building shapes a flexible and powerful facade image, while the interior of the rising part corresponds to the functional space of the roadshow hall and the lecture hall, and the facade shape is coordinated and unified with the internal space PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in 2018 in Zhengzhou, Henan and finished in 2019 ,and put into use in 2020. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The architectural form wrapped by milky white U shaped glass curtain wall conveys a hazy and mysterious sense of science and technology and future, well interprets the impression and temperament of the information technology industry, and establishes the image of the park SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Project area: 4730.08 m2 Floor area: 71410 m2 Total construction area: 141602m2 Building area: 107798 m2 Landscape area: 13500 m2 Water area: 1395 m2 TAGS: Industrial exhibition, investment promotion service, office meeting, leisure negotiation, catering Roadshow RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The project is an integrated design of architecture and landscape. The outdoor ceiling on the first floor adopts matte stainless steel ceiling, which reflects each other with the landscape water system below, forming a dialogue between the building and the landscape. CHALLENGE: The first floor of the building is mainly for urban exhibition space and negotiation and reception functions, and a large area of floor glass curtain wall better connects the indoor and outdoor landscape vision. The second floor is the conference roadshow space, which serves the park and meets the needs of enterprise product release and large scale conference in the park. The third floor is the joint office space, which is set in combination with the third space to interpret the office mode of Yida new era.
