| DESIGN NAME: Hug PRIMARY FUNCTION: Armchair INSPIRATION: The inspirational part of this armchair came with the use of the classics armchairs that gives your body a "hug" when you sit on them. The idea is "privacy" and "cuddle". Privacy cause when you're using the armchair you will be "inside" and have your privacy there. And the "cuddle" because of classics armchairs. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Just like the classics armchairs, the materials can be soft ones or can be leather or other types. Inside the structure, it has upholstery, usual hardworking with wood. The design can be as colorful as you want it to be, or you can simply use monochromatic colors. It goes well both ways. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Hug armchair is a unique piece and will take a good part of your living room, because it's bigger than you think. But with this, you can decorate your house and also have a very comfy armchair to use when you are tired from work. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The armchair production and manufacture is based on a custom design. You can change the colors and materials. After the that, traditional techniques and handmaid montage by experienced handworkers for the final touch. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 1450mm lenght x 1500mm width x 1400mm height TAGS: Sofa, colorful, modern, Furniture, Furniture Design, armchair, chair, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Using the "hug" idea that we give to our related and friends almost every day, the chair had to look like each part were hugging each other. After the first layer, the rest was each to understand about the design itself. CHALLENGE: Choosing a good size for each layer. It couldn't be small to the point that would disappear behind the other and also couldn't be too big that would feel too much in a small apartment. After that, the rest was easy.
