| DESIGN NAME: Tiger Spirit PRIMARY FUNCTION: Digital Media Art INSPIRATION: Among the Eastern cultures, there is a culture that expresses one year and 12 months as animals. 2022 is the Year of the Tiger. Tigers are symbols of strength and pray for health. Many people around the world are suffering from viruses. Like the meaning of the energy of the tiger in this work, it symbolizes and hope that many people can live a healthy and happy life. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The characteristics of this project are media works expressed on large media towers and wide electronic boards which are embodied in motion works that move with 3d and expressed as lively works. His work was produced by combining 2d painting, digital work, and 3d digital imaging work with a 20 meter high large media tower and was presented as a video. Each scene of his work is effective, and there is an element that makes the work more immersive. It is a work produced in consideration of Nft sales. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: He created a new digital work together in 2022 at the 4BD studio and presented a digital exhibition. It is a Korean work with the spirit of a tiger. Tigers have long been symbols of strength and health. In Asia, there are 12 animals that symbolize the year. 2022 is the year that symbolizes tigers, and many people have created works to pray for health with their families. He tried to convey energy so that many people could be happy and healthy with their families through lively works. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The illustration of this project began design production in august 2016 and was released in Seoul. South Korea in January 2017. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In this case the brush used in traditional South Korea painting is used to create texture. And it first scans it and saves it as digital data. Using the digital program adobe Photoshop sketch basic color and detail color using the touch of a traditional korea brush are performed in order. The important point here is that the traditional korea way of expressing pictures is a art that is expressed with digital graphics. He used the final result of 2d and the 3d video work together to make it a work. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Tiger Spirit illustration was created in Photoshop Rgb Cmyk color mode and spine & 3d max program. The size is 6720mm x 15,000mm. It is made of digital art. He uses traditional Korean brushes to express the touch of paintings. And his expression was embodied in a new form of illustration through the combination of digital graphics and traditional painting styles. In this project, he focused on the eco-friendly connection between nature and animals. The important concept of this project is the harmony and meaning of nature. CHALLENGE: The illustration he should have drawn is a new type of work with value for a new year. It is an illustration that intuitively expresses the world where nature and animals coexist together, meaning the time and value of the season. The digital effect was added to the illustration to express the seasonal elements of spring, summer, fall, and winter, the flow of time, and a sense of space. Through a new type of illustration that combines 2D works with 3D effects, it contains symbolic values and meanings of animal tigers living in nature, and is designed with the aim of works that can give people energy of health and hope.
