| DESIGN NAME: Kaisa Yuebanshan PRIMARY FUNCTION: Community Center INSPIRATION: The designers have excavated the local culture of Zhongshan and absorbed the architectural layout and cultural connotation of the Chen Family Ancestral Hall. They hope that the Life Aesthetics Hall will also have a multi-dimensional space to accommodate the daily real public life of the crowd. Based on the warm climate of Lingnan, architecture and landscape are closely related. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: According to the current situation of the site with a large elevation difference, a three-story volume is cleverly set up to connect two terraces with a height difference of about 4 meters horizontally, and the Community Center is defined as a two-story building. There is a public space on the two floors with different functions, giving it more life scenes. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The simple arc-shaped white wall encloses an independent display interface, which makes the building soft, supplemented by the faint lighting design, so that the whole picture has a sense of space and depth, and gives the building agile vitality. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In order to ensure the comfort of the space, a 12-meter large span structure and a 5-meter cantilever structure are adopted to increase the number and strength of secondary beams to control the clear height. The soft shape is in harmony with the mountains on the north and south sides. , And then arrange the array of arc-shaped walls to create a sense of rhythm in the space. CHALLENGE: Zhongshan Kaisa Yuebanshan Community Center creates a new space in terms of space. The small area combines the height difference of the site to design a two-story living complex that can accommodate the real daily life of residents. Taking full advantage of the natural landscape, the mountain view is introduced into the life of the residents. The building is like a container of time, which locks the scenery and places the soul.
