| DESIGN NAME: Yueyun Teahouse PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition Center INSPIRATION: The project lies on the mountain and the sea.Architect don't want the building become the implanter of nature, how to make the building hide between the mountains and the sea is the goal in design. Affected by the unique geographical location and environmental conditions, the building's overall shape inspiration is drawn from the Fibonacci spiral line, also known as the golden spiral.The Fibonacci spiral line is the materialized representation of the most perfect golden ratio in nature. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Relying on the Fibonacci spiral line, architect have used modern techniques to create an orderly architectural form, which constitutes the spatial skeleton of the project, and completes the introduction, circulation, and integration of external space. The entire form is strictly controlled in accordance with the golden ratio, achieving perceptual beauty under rational constraints, and returning to natural rhythms and rhythms in large-scale industrialized communities. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The ground building adopts a curved full glass curtain wall to achieve visual transparency, while also allowing sunlight and air to penetrate into the building and be integrated with nature. The covered bridge adopts the form of metal panels to form a huge contrast with the surrounding environment, stand out in the natural garden and become the visual center. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Steel frame and aluminum, plate decoration, curved glass curtain wall, stone curtain wall. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The total land area:980 Square meter; The total construction area:1099 Square meter; Building height:7M; Number of floors: 1 floor above ground / 1 floor underground TAGS: Public Service Building, Exhibition Center, Zhubo Design, Seaside Building, Special-shaped Building RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The project use purely rational design techniques to achieve the beauty of order under the natural perception. The final shape of the building resembles the shape of a conch, responding to the most primitive coastal environment of the project. As a community center, Yueyun Teahouse allows residents to listen to the sound of the sea in this seaside snail shell, sit and watch the clouds rise, and feel the wonderful gift of nature. CHALLENGE: The project want to make the helix as thin as possible. And when the spiral falls to the ground, it has a complicated relationship with some of the surrounding projects. The calculation of the steel structure and the split joints of all the aluminum plates, including the shape, were simulated in the full mold. 1000 aluminum plates of different specifications were spliced together in the whole building, and the beam position was precisely controlled to achieve the final effect.
