| DESIGN NAME: Ultra Flex Mesh Series Ufmc PRIMARY FUNCTION: Art Direction and Design INSPIRATION: The inspiration for the design is Noh masks. Like the Noh mask, which solemnly expresses the essence of a person, I expressed the essence of the product from the front. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Ultraflex Mesh series is an oral surgical treatment instrument. It is used in surgery for bone loss. It is a plate that supports an artificial bone. The uniquely developed mesh shape has dramatically improved the flexibility of the shape compared to previous plates. In order to express the quality of the product, UFMC made a face shape using the product, and UFMP expressed the degree of freedom by attaching it to a face mold for molding. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: After hearing from the client, I met with the photographer and copywriter to put together a specific direction. In order to convey the quality of the product, we proposed a concept and a concrete plan with a unified will to avoid half-hearted expression. After receiving their approval, we proceeded to procure materials for the production of the mask, manufacture the mask, prepare for the shoot, and write the copy. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: When the product was presented at a medical products exhibition in December 2014, it was displayed at the exhibition site. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: UV Inkjet Print. Paper:VENT NOUVEAU V SNOW WHITE 130kg/46 SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: WIDE:728mm, HIGHT:1030mm TAGS: emotional, clarity, impact, simple, tranquility RESEARCH ABSTRACT: First, we asked the producer about the concept behind the product. I could not ask him about the know-how of the development of the originally developed mesh shape because it was confidential, but I found out that the mesh shape is unique in that it allows flexible treatment of the affected area by freely curving titanium, which is a hard material with excellent corrosion resistance and stability. CHALLENGE: The difficulty was deciding on the form of the mask and processing the product, since it is made of 1mm titanium, which is hard. I had a hard time deciding on the lighting during the shooting and then retouching to distribute the amount of midtones and highlights among the blacks.
