DESIGN NAME: The Sound of Poetry
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Key Visual
INSPIRATION: "The Sound of Poetry" campaign is divided into two subprojects: the poetry-theater which discovers the possibility of "voice”, and the workshop series under the theme of “science fiction and universal”.
In the universe, life emerged abruptly at the moment when inorganic matter transformed into organic matter. As some said that poetry is built on all things. Then that would be the time when poetry was created. When flame sparkles, the buds bloom, and the rock falls into pieces, they will all compose the sound of poetry.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: There are several examples of visualization of the sounds, such as Chladni figures (similar to concentric circles), and digital waves of audio tracks on the computer screen. However, it is a challenge to combine them with cosmos elements in an innovative, also to provoke sensory stimulation. The key visual design takes the form of audio tracks. Several solid, natural elements converted into wave shapes, bring an exotic and surrealistic feeling to the viewers. The horizontal arrangement of the structure just echoes the text arrangement in the poem, and the entire poster is likewise a poem at the same time.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: -
CHALLENGE: The proposition of this campaign combines abstract and concrete concepts. It is a challenge to visualize this unique conflict. Inspired by nature, I distorted and deformed elements such as flames, leaves, corals, est. The whole diagram might looks familiar to the viewers in the first sight, but it turns out to be exotic ultimately.
