| DESIGN NAME: Arte Residence PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Building INSPIRATION: The idea was to make a product that catered to the building's target audience. People who are open to new proposals, who value social interaction, are constantly seeking innovation and the value of design in all the products they consume. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In terms of volume, the structure consists in a large vertical monolith with an expressive set of horizontal planes, arranged in half levels, where large balconies facing the sea are located. The architecture is serene, where the materiality of exposed concrete and wood show its authenticity. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The best result and performance are based on the idea of reducing environmental impacts, and the building has some solutions like Energy efficiency, conscientious consumption of water, thermo acoustic confort, correct disposal and recycling. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project is located on Torres beach, a municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in the extreme south of Brazil. The project is currently under construction. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In this building, we value the quality and authenticity of the products and finishes. For this purpose, exposed concrete, wood and ceramic tiles were used. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The development is a residential building with twenty floors, with two apartments per floor. Totaling 200.00 square meters of private area in each apartment, all with three suites and large social areas. The total area of the Development is 9,936.38 square meters. TAGS: Arte Residence, Arte, Torres Arquitetos, Design Incorporadora RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The building reflects a sober and contemporary architecture. The choice for a differentiated residential product has been a conviction of the developer and the architectural firm since its earliest studies. Surprise and daring in every detail, a custom product with originality, was the premise of this project. CHALLENGE: The challenge of this project was to make a building that exploited its constructive potential to the full with architectural quality and that was not an obvious product to be launched: all the alternatives, to a greater or lesser degree, presented risks and opportunities. This configuration created a vital challenge to be overcome to differentiate itself from the existing market and the products offered by other companies.
