| DESIGN NAME: Wuyue Plaza of Shangrao PRIMARY FUNCTION: Commercial Space INSPIRATION: The concept is“Shangrao flowers bloom in all seasons”，Shangra UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The facade of the project is the most characteristic part of the project. the design hope that the shape of the shopping center can reflect the local characteristics to the greatest extent. Through facade design, curtain wall deepening and lighting cooperation, Shangrao flower sea will be projected on the facade and make it bloom. In the daytime, flowers of different degrees will bloom. In the evening, different patterns will be formed through lighting design to light up the night sky of Shangrao OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The original "petal" unit and the whole facade are perfectly presented through the design control of the whole process. In the early stage is combined with the concept of lighting lighting effects, considering the petals open close echo the status of different stages of flowers, from "bud" to "half-open" PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2017 and opened in June 2019 in Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, China FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Architecture, Building and Structure Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: - SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: Commerce, Façade design, Flower Sea, Local culture, Parametric design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: This design combines the unique facade form of Huahai design with local characteristics. The most difficult thing is how to present the design idea through the change of the facade petal unit.
