| DESIGN NAME: Steady Power Wire Art PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition INSPIRATION: When “uncertainty” is the only certain thing on this land, TAYA Electrics supported our everyday life like strong tree roots, sending steady powers and electricity to all corners of the country. No matter sunny or rain, it was always there to connect everyone's life. The TAYA Group 65th anniversary linear exhibition Steady Power tells a narrative of “stable everyday life”, telling stories with the usually hidden wires that transfers the power and electricity. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: For the TAYA Group 65th anniversary exhibition Steady Power, the artist Zxin Li takes copper wires from TAYA Electric to outline the huge tree that symbolizes the TAYA group. Stemming out from the tree, are five daily scenes of ordinary life: the porridge stall, the dining table, the train, the temple, and the beacon. Showing how TAYA infiltrates the daily life people on this island. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The wire arts were paired with the change of lighting and audio narration, turning the installation into an interactive and immersive experience; the alternating shadow of the wires on the walls and the ceiling gives the installation a richer visual, and the audio gives the audiences a more well-rounded understanding of the TAYA Group as a brand. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The exhibition started at 2020.08.08 and ended at 2020.08.16, it was held at Huashan 1914 Creative Park. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: When we were commissioned by the TAYA Group for a branding exhibition, we thought of the ordinary and hidden but ubiquitous and essential qualities of wires and electricity provided by the TAYA Group, and have decided to represent the group with the equally ubiquitous, essential, and strong tree that supports the daily life of people. The material used are actual copper wires provided TAYA Electric Wire & Cable. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Site: Huashan 1914 Creative Park W5-1 building, Floor: 1F, Dimensions: 281 square met ers, Target Audiences: brand customers, TAYA Group business partners, and art enthusiasts. TAGS: Wire Art Exhibition, Inception, Steady Power Wire Art, ZXin, TAYA Group RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The exhibition is not only for the general public to understand TAYA as a brand, it is also made to showcase the brand to its possible clients. Therefore, the design is focused on expressing the history, the convenience, the importance, and the relationship between the audiences and electricity.
