DESIGN NAME: Sight Difference
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Inclusive Playground Equipment
INSPIRATION: When we walked into the community playground before, most of what we saw were cookie-cutter playground equipment, either were set for little children or assistive equipment for senior citizens. Not until recently, featured park and inclusive playground starts blooming, interactive between senior people and grandchildren as the main idea to design a series of playground equipment for the inclusive community.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A series of incusive playground equipment that focuses on safe interaction and supplemented by living space, which enhances the interaction and fun of grandparents and grandchildren when playing in the park, attracts active children and leads their elders to play with them, and increases the elders’ exercise opportunities to promote daily interactions and conversation between children and grandparents, at the same time promoted the sustainable development of today's inclusive communities.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: 1.Niu Niu Chu:To assist the fun of the waist twisting exercise, the adult holds the up pole with both hands, and the child grasps the lower rope device, and slides the slide rail according to their respective rhythms.
2.Ciao Ciao Chu: It's a bit like a mini seesaw for training the elderly to squat and lie down. It is an interactive method for short-distance play. The height difference is generated by the middle lever and the double springs.
3.Yao Yao Chu:Adults stand on the feet position and swing left and right to exercise the waist and shoulders, the child standing on the other end is swayed, creating the fun of a horizontal swing.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in August 2020 in Taiwan , completed in February 2021, first debut in March and will exhibit in Young Designers’ Exhibition in World Trade Center, May 2021.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: External iron parts are related to the seat: construct a 3D with reference to the existing iron parts specifications and dimensions, and first collect the proportions of the human body of the game group, construct a preliminary 3D and discuss with the structural boss to solve the problem of the expansion of the center of the circle, and then divide the detailed parts into pieces and the size-related revisions, and print out the 1:1 third view after finalizing, compare the actual age of the separate body parts, trim the proportion of the appearance, and finally make the finished product model.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: To related parks and related manufacturing plants on the market to understand the dismantling and construction process of objects. safety and scale, related steel pipe parts and other size specifications, structure of the entity 3D and printed a 1:1 model provides a spacious, safe, interactive, interesting and comfortable environment for amusement equipment. The amusement equipment considers the interactive needs of parents and children, and grandparents and grandchildren. It can prevent parents or elders who take children to the park from getting bored while taking care of them.
CHALLENGE: We mainly use three products as our design goal this time They are seesaw, twist invitation, and Yaoyao ship to design a set for sending Play equipment for the elderly and children to play together Seesaw for the elderly to squat exercise Change the movement path of the existing seesaw circular motion. Twisting can train the elderly to stretch their hands and waist, while Yaoyao is aimed at the stability of the lower limbs of the elderly.
