DESIGN NAME: Imagine Center
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Visual Identity
INSPIRATION: The brand profile and design was inspired by a main pose in yoga and meditation practices called "Sukhasana" where the physical shape of the body was used in the sketching of the logo and the soul is being represented with a shape and a color taking the center of the design as the soul is the center of the body. And as a designer and an artist meditation and yoga have been a big part of my creative thinking process, so when it came down to designing a profile for a yoga and meditation center, it gave a strong enough motive to practice my proficient into coming up with the identity.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design is a visual identity and branding for a yoga and meditation center -"imagine Center"- where visuals and design play a main role to achieve the meditation and yoga center goals, therefore the golden ratio was used to abstract the ancient yoga pose "Sukhasana" reaching a balanced visual look that fits the character of the center. The logo was represented by the body shape and soul.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The visual identity of the brand includes designs for the interior look of the center, packaging, signs, advertisements, and online media.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in October 2020 and was successfully completed in January 2021 in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design
|
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The shape of the human body in the "Sukhasana" yoga pose was an inspiration to use the golden ration creating a visual representation for the brand's idea, and it was implemented using vectors to reach the highest quality of print. simplicity is the most complicated form of beauty therefore the design took a very simple path yet very detailed and elegant.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The product's design used vector graphics editor. As a vector graphic, it can be scaled up and down without any loss to the quality of the image. The branding final design was submitted in both RGB and CMYK color variants for printing and social media marketing. The logo could be used separately by the Client to identify themselves by engraving it on different materials.
