DESIGN NAME: Xiushanghua
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Branding
INSPIRATION: The brand logo of “Xiushanghua” is designed and made with the traditional Chinese pattern "Auspicious Clouds" and the unique shape of flower windows in Suzhou, and through the graphic processing of compound aesthetic rules. Xiangyun means auspiciousness in traditional Chinese patterns, and is also called "Neon Clothes" in Eastern mythology, which means "fairy clothes".
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: As an important part of Chinese traditional culture, Su embroidery carries China's long history and national wisdom. As the representative brand of new Su embroidery, “Xiushanghua” bears the important responsibility of inheriting the past and the future. Combining traditional cultural connotation with contemporary aesthetics and artistry is our positioning of this brand style.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was first launch in February 2020 in Suzhou, China and finished in December 2020.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Combining traditional cultural connotation with contemporary aesthetics and artistry is our positioning of the brand style. The concept of combining inheritance and fashion not only sets the tone for the vision, but also guides the new development direction of the traditional handicraft industry.
CHALLENGE: Xiangyun means auspiciousness in traditional Chinese patterns, and is also called "Neon Clothes" in Eastern mythology, which means "fairy clothes". The tangible objects are transformed into abstract artistic patterns through graphic language, which reflects the profound background of the brand culture, and is more in line with the theme of the brand, as well as the founder's foresight about the brand.
