| DESIGN NAME: Solve PRIMARY FUNCTION: Working Station INSPIRATION: Solve is created with the idea that everything needed while working is designed in a single station, with aesthetic and ergonomic combinations. It is aimed to arrange the work surface in the most functional way. The table top consists of a combination of different pieces, which could be used as storage. It is also suitable for electronics. The channel on its trailing edge could be used for tablets. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Solve is designed as a suitable working station for the home- office culture, which is also provides personal and professional needs of the users. Solve is an aesthetic and ergonomic workstation, which offers customizable details to users. The product is aimed to promote the working motivation to users. It is an aesthetic and ergonomic workstation that offers customizable details. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Solve working station offers different sub-functions besides its main function. The design is used at home-offices but it is also suitable for public offices. The demountable privacy felt provides a comfortable focus point in dynamic spaces. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The idea of designing Solve is started in June, 2020 and the design process is completed in February, 2021, in Ankara. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Furniture Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Solve is designed for the current requirements for working, which includes the changes and needs because of the pandemic. The unit creates a comfortable working atmosphere at homes. It also provides a practical, compact design to the users for settlement of working tools, electronics, lighting and storage. Solve, which is a rational, creative and innovative product with its ability to solve all functions and details in the same station, which responds to current trends and today's needs. The unit offers multifunctional solutions to its users with demountable accessories. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Solve is formed with an MDF table top, a metal frame, which carries the main surface and connects the two profiles, and two supportive wooden legs. Table top has 2 hidden drawers, 3 hidden boxes, 2 cable canals and a hollow. The metal frame could be also used for sticky notes, a support to tablets or notebooks, and suitable for demountable accessories such as lighting and privacy felt. The other inter section connects the frame, could be use for resting legs and a hanger for trash can.The table measures 136x75 cm. The total dimensions of the product is 144x 94x 75 cm. The height of the table is 74 cm. Another purpose of the idea is to detail the work surface in the most convenient way for users and to carry this surface with metal profiles, which has different functions, with its impressive and simple design.
