PRIMARY FUNCTION: Brand Identity
INSPIRATION: For the visual identity of an important Blog aimed at the Brazilian design market, focused on the dissemination of knowledge in the area, was used a set of references that express the design, art and nature of Brazil. These sources of visual and cultural inspiration were sought in the national flag, fauna, flora and in renowned names of art, such as Athos Bulcao and Di Cavalcanti.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The brand of the Blog Designers Brasileiros is a panel with the format of the letter D composed by geometric pieces that fit and represent design specialties. These parts are shapes extracted from the Brazilian flag that also form a letter B and a toucan. The toucan is one of the largest seed dispersers of Brazilian fauna, one of those responsible for formation of tropical forests. For the brand, the dispersion of seeds symbolizes the dissemination of knowledge by Designers Brasileiros.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: A visual identity that takes the viewer to the design, culture and nature of Brazil.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in October 2020 and was completed in January 2021 to commemorate the 10 years of Blog Designers Brasileiros

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Developed graphically in golden ratio, with a specific technique called squared golden ratio. For this, the gold rectangles are positioned proportionally to form a gold square. This square served as the grid that formed a harmonic and intentionally proportional symbol.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Everything was developed with a design project methodology that involved research on the client's history, Brazilian culture, golden ratio techniques applied to design and studies on how to graphically represent concepts such as the dissemination of knowledge in the areas of design in a Brazilian way.
CHALLENGE: The great challenge was to represent in a brand the idea of ​​disseminating knowledge to designers in a Brazilian and charismatic way.
