| DESIGN NAME: Gemtree Club PRIMARY FUNCTION: Leisure Space INSPIRATION: This case is modern and minimalist design style with the theme of gentleman grace. It helps people to slow down life pace and pursue a more delicate and elegant lifestyle in material abundant age. The wine-red artistic paint is used throughout the clubhouse to create a mellow and elegant space atmosphere. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Entering the entrance hall, the arc-shaped wine cabinet extending from the facade to the top is full of rhythm, just to show the brewing of each wine is full life thickness, mellow style, and unique, honorable effort. The linear light belt extends from the top to the wall. And the light flowing from the top is sharp and powerful, shaping the depth perception of the space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The platform below the wine cabinet is connected with the stair. The design of integral hidden lamp belt enhances the sense of spatial administrative levels while dividing the space. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in October 2019 in Fuzhou and finished in January 2020 in Fuzhou. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The modern sculpture with proper lighting ornament, at the threshold of the staircase is placed on the floating table top, presenting a sense of simple luxury. Beneath the staircase, there is a small landscape of mini mountain with white sand and fantastic stones. The artistic conception of this landscape is fresh and refined, which is integrated with the tea table in the reception area. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers a total of 200 square meters. TAGS: Interior, Commercial, Club, Modern, Simple, Natural, Art, Wine RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The wine tasting area is designed to be minimalist and practical. The wall space of red brick carve act, with classic and retro gesso disc carved patterns, highlights the warm firelight of fireplace. Everything seems understated, partially visible, thought-provoking, felt and tasted in a calm atmosphere. It's red wine, and also life. CHALLENGE: The wooden grating partition, with the dense and orderly square blocks, becomes the boundary dividing the reception area and wine tasting area. These ares are visually partly hidden, partly visible, projects the shadow effect of virtual and real coexistence under the light.
