DESIGN NAME: Episode
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Brand eXperience Design
INSPIRATION: Episodeis not only a living space but also a shared residential platform made with customers’ experiences and values. SK D&D develops the design by focusing on a design that can be flexibly changed and applied rather than a fixed design, on a touchpoint to express the characteristics of the brand.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Many residential space brands provide a supplier-centered brand identity. However, Episode is a user-centered design with a major difference in communication with customers.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design motif developed has been applied to resident cards, room numbers, etc. for customers and completed when they draw their own episode. SK D&D intends to provide a variety of new brand experiences to users through a flexible design rather than a fixed one.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project proceeded for 4 months in Seoul, South Korea.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: 1. Brand Value Platform
It defines the brand essence, “Life Storyg (story+storage),” and the core brand value, “living space, value community, and emotional platform.”
2. Visual Identity and Brand Design Element Development
The square in the EPISODE logo indicates a space where diverse stories and harmonization are contained. It is developed to flexibly expand to online/off-line contacts.
3. Brand Experience Design
From various communication contacts, key visual assets such as logos, colors, typefaces, and key visuals are used in the right place to provide Episode’s unique brand experiences.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: SK D&D has thoroughly analyzed diverse space share services, which are currently provided to customers, conducted interviews to find ways to create synergy through customer members coming together, and considered ways to visually connect customer experience elements.
CHALLENGE: Modern residential spaces are not just a resting place but a place of applying the values and tastes and, furthermore, aspects of one’s life. Through this identity design, SK D&D intends to break away from the concept of traditional residence and suggest a new dwelling place.
