DESIGN NAME: Cultural Wars Against Poland
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Book Series
INSPIRATION: "Cultural Wars against Poland" is a popular science historical series published by the National Center for Culture in Poland.
war, roughness, destruction, nationality, invaders, red accents referring to the color of the Polish flag
The publication is devoted to deliberate diffusion measures against Poland carried out by neighboring countries. The series covers the period from the end of the 17th century to the first half of the 20th century. The issues discussed in the following volumes make it possible to see the continuity of the anti-Polish narrative and show how the distribution of anti-Polish accents changed depending on the current goals of the partitioning powers.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The paper chosen for the cover – Antalis Curious Collection Matter, Goya White – is very rough, which strengthens the message. The tear-off of a page on the covers is enhanced by the dry-stamping technique.
The printing color of the inside of the books is two-tone - black and intense red. Red accents refer to Polishness.
