DESIGN NAME: Smarkez
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Business Browser
INSPIRATION: I completely redesigned the Smarkez brand identity and the web app owned by Datbrain LTD company. I was inspired by the strength and determination of the business world, the ability to browse the web in the most fluid and fast way possible, having everything at hand on a single screen. The new Smarkez logo inspires multipages, speed, security, and that's what I tried to define in the browsing experience of this digital service.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: For who work online is necessary to manage multiple accounts for so many services. Smarkez has been designed to accelerate the work flow, offering a market of most popular services in the world totally for free, a feature to organize your online office in lists, totally opened for colleagues or private, protected by a password. Smarkez is a browser useful for social media manager, for who manage e-commerce and other modern jobs.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Smarkez is a browser that allows you to organize your digital services or apps into lists that you can protect with passwords. Add your apps and related accounts from the internal app market, manage positions in a main tab and receive notifications. Split view to manage the layout from 1 to 4 screens. In addition, an internal market for add-ons organized into categories.Easily manage of passwords for all added app accounts. And so much more!
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Design started in January 2020 in Caserta (Italy) and finished in March 2020. Developed by the team of Datbrain LTD from Italy in smart working and UK - Just available in a beta version for download on www.smarkez.com

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Smarkez has been entirely designed in .sketch format to better manage the workflow for final development together with the company's internal team. The web app is already available for download for macOS or Windows in a beta version.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The Smarkez app is totally responsive, designed in 1440pixel but users can manage the size of the app from their pc so it is not possible to indicate the realistic dimensions of this digital product

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design process started from the company brief. Main problem to solve was the difficulty of managing so many accounts of websites or apps for social media manager, marketer, and other, trying to offer them a tool that facilitates the management of work flow. The split view experience with many management possibilities and the feature of switching apps directly from the favicon in the top bar of each open page and much more represent the sense of speed of Smarkez as brand.
CHALLENGE: Datbrain LTD as a company among the various missions has that of wanting to fight fragmentation and wants to create ecosystems. Smarkez can be a valid support that wants to incorporate all the digital services used by web workers, and we have already seen this with the first downloads (despite being a young product), with people and workers who thank us and even suggest other features that we will definitely implement. it is a product that already has a life and is already a valid support for hundreds of digital workers. It has an internal market with hundreds of tools for every type of job and has already had a valid impact.
