DESIGN NAME: Alharir Salon
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Beauty Salon Branding
INSPIRATION: The design takes on the character of luxury and elegance represented in the light-salmon color, the general shape of the emblem symbolizes the letter ( ح ) in the Arabic alphabet , the first letter of the salon name studded with the crown to identify it more luxuriously. The figure below the logo expresses the quality care found inside the salon led by professionals.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The objective of the branding process was to place the brand in the high-end category by taking a look and a feel of adapting to the global trends in makeup and skin care. In the design process, Satie realized the importance of creating a brand that can successfully communicate to the consumers. Therefore, a custom brand has been developed that is identified with characteristics such as femininity, unique visual elements, opulent colors and textures and attention to the fine details to add more confidence and comfort.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Alharir Salon has the sole purpose of identifying customers in a distinct and exclusive context that is in line with the brand's characteristics. All details regarding customer experience when developing the brand have been carefully planned and designed to improve their satisfaction and comfort. Every aspect of the brand that generates its overall identity from interior design to reception, massage and skin care seats, from the way customers interact with employees, to the quality of the products used in body and skin care, all have one purpose: to make customers feel privacy, comfort, and excellence.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in July 2018 and was successfully completed in October 2018 in Saudi Arabia and Riyadh. Since October 2018, the brand is being used by the designer and many other materials have been made available to support sales and brand awareness campaigns.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Arabic alphabet was an inspiration to use Typography and Pattern design as the technique in the branding idea, and it was implemented using vectors to reach the highest quality of print on silk, cardboard, wood, and luxury retail paper material.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The product's design used vector graphics editor. As a vector graphic, it can be scaled up and down without any loss to the quality of the image. The branding final design was submitted in both RGB and CMYK color variants for printing and social media marketing. The logo could be used separately by the Client to identify themselves by engraving it on different materials.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Luxury in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is one of the main themes in fashion, styling, and beauty. Due to the big response to the field of beauty shops and salon, this design presents luxury using colors and styles such as the Arabian alphabet vectors and the light-salmon color to be impactful and draw customers attention to the business.
CHALLENGE: Saudi Arabia has a wide range of diversity in cultures as well as varying history of arts in many different regions of this large country. The main challenge in the creative process was to come up with the theme and patterns in that connect and unify these regions in attempt to represent the Saudi Arabian multiple cultures.
