| DESIGN NAME: Yue Restaurant PRIMARY FUNCTION: A Restaurant INSPIRATION: The design inspiration of the restaurant comes from Jingdezhen porcelain, which was once famous in the world. Today, designers extract ceramic culture and design through international aesthetics. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a restaurant with ceramic culture theme. All the design elements in the restaurant come from the integration of Oriental culture and Western culture, presenting an international aesthetic style. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This is a space design, the audience can feel the aesthetic and cultural charm. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2019 in Shanghai and finished in October 2019 in Shanghai. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: All ceramic decoration works in the restaurant are handmade from Jingdezhen. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 40000 mm x 40000 mm TAGS: Yue Restaurant, Dong Ci Xi Yun, Jingdezhen, Ceramic RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Combine Chinese traditional culture with western aesthetics to realize the international aesthetic expression of Chinese culture. CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge of this design project is to present the traditional Chinese ceramic culture in combination with western aesthetics, and to have an international aesthetic effect. NAME: Yue Restaurant PROFILE: It is located on the 6th floor of Mercedes Benz cultural center in Pudong, Shanghai, the first performance venue in Asia, beside the Huangpu River, with an independent space of 1500 square meters and a panoramic view of 270 degrees. Yuejiang restaurant not only contains Chinese traditional ceramic culture, but also pays attention to express it from the perspective of internationalization, presenting the unique brand style of "Eastern porcelain and Western charm, literati aesthetics". |
