RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The plot of a family living in a courtyard comes from the continuous and living emotional vein flowing in the blood of the family. The rooms are separated from each other, but through the link of communication space, we pursue the most desirable living experience of the courtyard - cohesion, stability, belonging and harmony among generations of families.
CHALLENGE: In recent years, with the continuous launch of Chinese luxury projects, a variety of courtyard projects are springing up. However, due to the land area, planning requirements and various factors of modern people's life style, modern courtyard projects rarely completely copy the traditional courtyard form. Most of the projects are designed by taking the basic language form of the building and combining modern architectural techniques.
