Chunlei Sun, the creative mind behind the winning project Yanan Monsion explains “This case is a complete courtyard composed of three kinds of communication spaces: neighborhood space, natural space, family space and private interior space, which is the transformation from the space characteristics of traditional courtyard houses to the space image of Yan'an. The designer pursues a concise, vivid and harmonious atmosphere of the courtyard.
