A' International Design Award and Competition is pleased to announce that the project Band3 by Design director: Lu Chen, Packaging designer: Jiangpeng Su and Packaging structure design: Zhizhuang Song has been announced as a laureate of the famed Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design Category picked as the winner by the international judging committee of the A' Design Awards & Competitions within a great number of submitted works.

Xiaomi, the lead designer of the winning work Band3 explains “Mi Band 3 is a low profile product that targets the lower end of the sports headset market. For the packaging design, designers wish to emphasize the youth and energy frequently associated with this group of users, so the packaging uses a simple figure of “3” as the visual point, surrounded by a pattern design that draws inspiration from the athletics track. This pattern extends over the entire package, conveying the dynamical of sports using simple lines.
