Details of Bake

Gaku Takasu, the lead designer of the winning project Bake explains “An interior design project for a cheese tartlet shop. The design team effectively used R-shaped glass to create a unique shop appearance that stands out among a long row of specialty shops in an underground arcade located in the city. This glass facade curves gently from the floor to the ceiling, evoking the shape of a cake showcase. The design team focused its efforts on creating something that would excite and entice passersby and the larger than life curved glass facade combines a sense of wonderment and novelty to effectively attract customers inside.” Learn more about this design at: https://competition.adesignaward.com/design.php?ID=84457
