Adele Rehkemper and Cliff Shin, the designer of the award winning medical product design Elan says “This design enables to take pictures of patients’ throat as well as measure temperature. Pediatrics expressed that suppressing patient's tongue could give discomfort and anxiety. The strength of this design is that young patients like children would still feel comfortable because the tongue would be naturally suppressed by placing lollipop shape camera on tongue.
