Taylor Cheng secures the renowned Silver A' Design Award

A' Design Awards is delighted to share that the furniture project MOLT by Taylor Cheng became winner of the renowned Silver A' Design Award at Furniture Design Competition Category.

A' Design Award and Competition is pleased to announce that the furniture design Molt by Taylor Cheng has been announced as a winner of the renowned Silver A' Design Award in Furniture Design Category marked as a winner by the transnational referees of the A' Design Awards & Competitions among thousands of nominations.
Regarding Molt
Taylor Cheng, the creator of the award winning furniture design Molt says “MOLT, a transformation of the Chinese chair, was inspired by Western design. MOLT used the idea of “anamorphosis” in the furniture to express distort perspective. The front angle appearing to be the ancient chair of Chinese emperor’s has a symbol of power, while the floating armrests represent honour, but when the experiencer walks around it.
