Joe Chan, the lead designer of the winning interior design work Sunac Sanya Haitang Bay Sales Center explains “This project iextracts the traditional Chinese element 'wooden lattices'. Combined with contemporary architectural forms, the dark brown 'wooden lattices' are spliced into screens and fences of different sizes as space partitions, creating transparent and open patterns and unifying the grand and elegant overall tone.
