Alejandro Stephens, the lead designer of the winning design Wild! explains “This project required the conceptualization of a 12-inch special edition artwork for Erasure's 1988 album, Wild!. The artworks are a series of abstract compositions depicting landscapes of colorful, organic forms and paint textures. Additionally, disassembled arrangements have been made for the typefaces, including the title letters on the front cover. Furthermore, a square sheet of stickers come included from inside the package, as a promotional item.
