Sanjay Chauhan, the creator of the award winning accolade design work F1 Trophy Design says “The Singapore Airlines iconic bird graphic is transformed into a 3D sculptural art piece, creating the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix Trophy. Smooth clean curves mimic the beauty and elegance synonymous with modern F1 cars. Three embossed gold stripes on each wing represent speed, power and direction. The 24K gold-plated trophy, milled from solid aircraft-grade aluminium blocks and hand-polished, is fused with a contrasting semi-matt black base with seven 'rings' paying tribute to the longevity of the world’s first F1 Night race.
