Vicki Cheung Wing Yan, the lead designer of the winning graphic design work True Love explains ““True Love” is a series of illustration to present the concept of love. The concept is inspirited by observation, an old couple holding hands. It is a simple way to express the love that Chinese couples usually tend not to show verbal affection. In Chinese philosophy, “yin and yang” describes two seemingly opposite or contrary forces may be interconnected, interdependent and complementary. It is what the series want to express about love.
