Liu Peng, the creative mind behind the winning baby products design work Pilo Mini explains “Pilo Mini redefines pillows in terms of shape and function. It is co-designed by biomedical engineers and industrial designers. It has the shape of a rock, but is soft like a feather. Based on ergonomics data, the low-poly structure outlines a suitable curve to fit children's body shape. Pilo Mini has sound units integrated seamlessly in the memory foam core. They work without external power source and create a gently whispering sound field, which is adjusted for all bands of audio signals.
