Zhenyi Chen, the lead designer of the winning furniture design Image explains “Image is a single person sofa. The purpose of design is to use modern and international design language to reproduce the spirit of oriental landscapes and re-innovate the furniture designs based on tradition and nature. The design inspiration derives from the famous Chinese painting Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains of Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368). For the presentation manner of traditional culture in modern society, more possibilities are explored in the design. The design provides a good experience for the user.
