Mr Siu Kwok Kin Stanley, the creator of the award winning architecture design work Floral Pavilion says “The inspiration of Floral Pavilion came from the Islamic carpet design. An extensive research on the historical and artistic importance of Islamic carpet is the key to create a hemisphere structure engraved with geometric patterns. During the day, a shadow is cast on the floor and form a physical impact as the carpet on the ground.
