Celia Chu, the creative mind behind the winning work Hotel Kapok Shenzhen Bay explains “As designers place great premium in having implanted local cultural nutrients into our hotel interior design, so they worked to deepen our understanding of local culture, history and materials, etc., in the articulation of their design styling.
