Shunichiro Ninomiya, the lead designer of the winning architecture design Sakai5 explains “It is a small house built on diamond-shaped irregular land. The site is located in Sakai city, Osaka Prefecture. It is a location that is chaotic and not good, mixed with the surrounding environment. It is a typical urban type housing with many constraints of three floors of a narrow area.
