WEI-NAN CHEN, the lead designer of the winning interior design work Scent of Music explains “When designing a duplex apartment, the staircase is one of the most important features. To connect the fragmented space in this duplex apartment, the designer used vertical circulation to soften the division, along with a tall-standing cuboid as the main wall, which penetrates through the first and second floor.
