Details of Structuretonics

Florian Schätz, the creative mind behind the winning 3d printing design Structuretonics explains “Automation and robots will revolutionise the architecture and construction industries. The work is an investigation into surface geometries and new possibilities to print the building facade using additive manufacturing, carbon reinforced concrete or recyclable 3D printed moulds. The Research Team designed more than hundred facade typologies, forms and structures for the building facade based on simulated environmental performance.
