Lovekar Design Associates, the lead designer of the winning work The Photo Company explains “An abandoned, dilapidated factory complex in a no-development zone had to be converted into a young photographer’s studio specializing in automobile, product and fashion photography, while maintaining the footprints of the existing structure. Unused spaces were used to create transition and interactive spaces. The project needed to merge interiors and architecture with the same theme flowing throughout the space, making it look larger.
