STATEMENT OF ART:Design and Art are both an essence for the development of mankind and the society he lives in. Design and Art have existed since the birth of mankind and continues to be of utmost importance ever since. Art is peculiar to the period it belongs to and is always influenced by the socio-economic status of the period in general and the artist in particular. The difference between design and art is, that while art caters to the self, design caters to the public at large, though both influence society and its thinking and development to a large extent.
